تهيه نقشه دقيق و استفاده از آن در طرح و اجراي هر پروژه‌اي يكي از عوامل مهم موفقيت آن پروژه به شمار مي‌رود. كاداستر در تركيب با سيستم‌هاي ثبت زمين يك اهرم اقتصادي قدرتمند است كه اطلاعات را گردآوري و مديريت مي‌كند و حقوق دارايي را تحكيم مي‌بخشد و همچنين اين حقوق دارايي به توسعه‌ي اقتصادي، پايدار اجتماعي و طبيعت بخوبي كمك مي‌كند. كاداستر سيستمي است كه در آن اطلاعات فني و اطلاعات حقوقي ضمن تلفيق با يكديگر، نگهداري و مديريت مي‌گردد تا در جهت تعيين موقعيت جغرافيايي يا متريك و هندسي املاك و ‌عمليات ثبتي نظير تحديد حدود، تفكيك، تجميع، افراز، رفع اختلافات ملكي در دعوي حقوقي و ساير موارد مورد استفاده قرار گيرد. بدين منظور نقشه‌هاي كالك موجود در اداره منابع طبيعي شهرستان مباركه مورد بررسي و ارزيابي قرارگرفت. نقشه‌هايي كه به نقشه‌هاي سنواتي معروف مي‌باشند، عملاً مشابه كروكي بوده و بصورت نسبي تهيه شده است. جهت بررسي و ارزيابي دقيق نقشه‌هاي مذكور، از مبناي عكس‌هاي هوايي 1:20000 سازمان نقشه‌برداري مربوط به دهه 1340 هجري شمسي، نقشه‌هاي توپوگرافي 1:250000 سازمان نقشه‌برداري، در كنار تصاوير ماهواره‌اي كوئيك‌برد استفاده شد. برداشت‌هاي زميني از طريق عوارض شاخص به‌عنوان نقاط كنترل زميني و با استفاده از جي پي اس دو فركانسه متصل به سامانه شيميم اداره ثبت اسناد و املاك كشور و همچنين نرم افزارهاي تخصصي سيستم اطلاعات جغرافيايي و نقشه‌برداري استفاده شد و نتايج اين تحقيق حصول نقشه‌هاي رقومي اجراي مقررات با خطاي كمتر از 10 سانتيمتر بوده كه كاربرد آن در تعيين دقيق مالكيت در محدوده اراضي ملي و مستثنيات و يكي از شاخص‌هاي مهم توسعه براي منطقه مي‌باشد.
