Proper use of natural resources and selection of species adapted to the climatic conditions of the region is one of the basic steps in the development and cultivation of plant species. Cultivation of (Bunium persicum) in arid and semi-arid regions due to low water requirement of (Bunium persicum) and also because of exports to other countries, job creation in agriculture and protection of natural ecosystems have a very high importance. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of zoning of prone habitat areas for (Bunium persicum) and biophysical and climatic factors affecting its growth in Yazd province. For this purpose, first through scientific research, library studies and survey of habitats of the studied species, suitable ecological conditions for the growth of (Bunium persicum) species were obtained and then, using meteorological data, the maps of effective climatic parameters were produced and finally, using these information layers and combining information layers with the inverse distance weighting method in GIS, the susceptible areas of the mentioned species were identified. According to the results obtained from the combination of parameter maps of average temperature, minimum temperature and altitude, 20.88% of the lands of the province have favorable conditions for the cultivation of (Bunium persicum) and only (Kariz) station is located in the unsuitable class. Based on the results of the map classification, regarding evaporation parameter, 65.53% of the lands are suitable for cultivation, which includes Meybod, Yazd and Mehriz stations and in terms of rainfall parameter, 52.25% of the lands including Mehriz, Meybod, Abarkooh and Marvast stations are in the appropriate class. Also in terms of snowfall parameter, 48.50% of the lands that include the eastern and southeastern parts of the province are prone to (Bunium persicum) cultivation and in terms of wind speed parameter, 72.33% of the lands including Bafgh, Abarkooh and Marvast stations are suitable and regarding pressure from the sea level, Robat, Aqda, Meybod, Abarkooh, Mehriz, Bafgh, Marvast and Herat stations, which cover 88.08% of the province's lands, are suitable for cultivation of (Bunium persicum). In addition, regarding the maximum absolute temperature parameter, 57.22% of the lands include Herat, Robat, Yazd, Mehriz and Marvast stations and in terms of absolute minimum temperature parameter, Robat and Herat stations with an area of 55.25% are suitable. Regarding the parameter of sunny hours, 84.11% of the areas, which include all stations except Aqda station that is in an inappropriate class, are appropriate and also regarding the parameter of dry temperature, 57.58% of the lands are suitable for growth of (Bunium persicum), which includes most stations except Yazd and Marvast stations. In terms of maximum temperature parameter, 69.13% of the areas are prone to black cumin habitat and in terms of wet temperature, 37.60% of the lands including Abarkooh and Herat stations are in the appropriate category. Regarding the relative humidity parameter, 66.94% of the areas including Mehriz, Yazd, Abarkooh and Marvast stations, in terms of minimum relative humidity parameter, 76.83% of lands including Aghda, Meybod, Mehrizo and Abarkooh stations and in terms of maximum relative humidity parameter, 52.19% of lands including Herat, Abarkooh, Meybod and Robat stations are appropriate. Finally, regarding the slope parameter, it can be said that 38.54% of the lands have the ability to cultivate species, and also by surveying the map of geographical directions, we find that the whole province has sufficient potential for (Bunium persicum) cultivation
