Identification and differentiation of quince (Cydonia oblanga Mill.) cultivars and genotypes is more difficult due to the narrower range of traits of this species compared to other members of the rosaceae family. This study was conducted to identify the differences between cultivars and genotypes in terms of morphological traits and to select important traits in distinguishing these cultivars and genotypes from each other and to introduce genotypes compatible with the climatic conditions of Mobarakeh, Isfahan. For this purpose, six quince (Cydonia oblanga Mill.) cultivars and genotypes (Behta, Vidoja, KVD2, NB1, NB4 and Isfahan) were studied and due to the importance of vegetative and reproductive traits in the cultivar differentiation program, 22 qualitative traits were added. Morphological and qualitative characteristics include traits related to leaf characteristics Leaf blade width, leaf blade shape, leaf blade (end angle except for tip), leaf blade (hairy surface), fruit characteristics (fruit size, fruit (general shape in longitudinal section) and fruit ( balance in longitudinal section), Fruit neck, fruit neck length, fruit (skin color without fluff), fruit color flesh, fruit (fruit flavor), fruit texture, unripe fruit (amount of fluff), unripe fruit (fluff color), fruit juice, tree characteristics (environment Trunk, tree height, canopy range, internode length, and branch diameter) and biochemical characteristics (pectin content, fruit juice volume, pH, total phenol, antioxidants, fruit firmness, soluble solids, acidity and ratio of soluble solids to Acidity) were. The results showed significant diversity in all plant organs and general shape of the tree, but identification and differentiation of genotypes required the use of a set of distinguishing traits. Among these, fruit size and shape, end cavity size, fruit color, fruit texture, fruit juiciness, leaf petiole shape, tree height, crown width and growth habit, growth strength, and branch density were more important and can be play an essential part in the differentiation of genotypes. Also, based on traits such as trunk ambient, tree height, fruit firmness, soluble solids, a significant difference was observed in Behta, Isfahan and NB4 cultivars and less acidity and phenol were observed in these cultivars and genotypes. Among the genotypes and cultivars, the best fruit traits and growth habits were observed in Behta, Isfahan, and NB4 cultivars, and KVD2 and NB1 genotypes had relatively less commercial value. Based on the results, it's possible to evaluate and introduce a number of cultivars and genotypes as promising and suitable cultivars of Mobarakeh region of Isfahan and it was found that cultivars and genotypes of Behta, Isfahan, and NB4, and Vidoja are suitable for Mobarakeh climate of Isfahan.
